Time to Turn the Game Off

Writer: Jeremy ChapmanJeremy Chapman

A Screen Tim comic by Amy Kim

One of the most common sources of challenging behaviors is when it's time to stop playing video games (or watching/scrolling/texting, etc) and move on to the next activity. Whether it's time to get ready for school, sit down at the dinner table, or brush teeth, kids have a very difficult time putting their devices down when asked, even if there have been several warnings.

In this Screen Tim comic, PsychChild cartoonist Amy Kim (Rush Medical College c/o 2025), Screen Tim offers a frustrated mom some insights before she tries again, with much more success.
